Miss Latina Schuyler is more than a title; it's about empowering women. Its main goal is to boost confidence and leadership, especially among Latina women, and to motivate them to lead their own stories. It's a cause that builds up self-belief and growth, helping women to see their true value and abilities.

Hii, my name is Yamilet and I am half Puerto Rican and Half Guatemalan. I am currently a senior in highscool and have mantained involved. I was a cheerleader, colorguard member, NHS member/secretary, Student Council member, and I also did band and choir. Im running for Miss Latina Schuyler because I’d love to still be involved in my community even when I’m not in school anymore. To me winning this title would allow me to not only represent Schuyler, but to also proudly represent all the Latinos. If I won this title I would love to help out the community in any way I can. I’ve loved growing up in our small town and I’m so excited for this experienced!:)

Hello, my name is Yeilla Lopez & I was crowned the 2024 Miss Latina Schuyler. I am very grateful for my parents, family, my friends, everyone else who voted for me, and especially the Schuyler Area Chamber of Commerce. I am honored to have the privilege to represent the growing community of Schuyler as Miss Latina. I cannot wait to do great things for such a great community. I hope to be able to help the community in things such as community clean-ups, organizing fundraisers, volunteering around town, & helping out people. I cannot wait to show this town that I am here to help, & honored to have this opportunity. I also cannot wait to show the community my love for this town & all of its people. Thank you once again to everyone for allowing me to get the opportunity to be Miss Latina Schuyler!
